Subject: Family Update #2
Content: Post #42 Lin/Allan, thank you so much for posting my daughter's daily progress on your forum. I hope our experience encourages others to try this method and to post their results so we can all find out if this works for them. Here is today's post. Day 8: This morning we ran 3/4 of a mile. On our way to school I told my daughter if she could finish the 2nd half of the book she started reading yesterday then I'll take her and her sister to the park to ride bikes after work. It took her 20 minutes to finish 5 chapters. In total it took her less then an hour to finish a 10 chapter book (55 pages). She's eager to read a 2nd book that she got from the library but I had to ask her to complete one book before she started another. She had a good day at school yesterday. She was a little bummed that she didn't get a candy from the House Elf who checks their desks to see if they're clean. She agreed it could have been cleaner and she's determined to get approval from that elf for the second time in 3 weeks. Good luck Sweety!
