ADHD Nutrition. ADHD and nutrition are interconnected. Although there are many underlying reasons for behavioural issues, if you improve diet for anyone, you will have a healthier person because of it. 10 years ago, as a therapist and educational advisor, I carried out a research programme with children with challenging behaviours like ADHD all aged between 5 and 16. The results were outstanding and in over 85% of cases ( this is where the children were consistently taking nutritional supplements) we had a measurable turn around in behaviours within 3 months. The programme included the following nutrition: a quality vitamin and mineral supplement which is food sourced not synthetic with no additives or chemicals and with a guaranteed amount of the necessary ingredients in every bottle, Also, a soya based vegetable protein drink to improve concentration and focus as well as support healthy development and growth. Flax seed oil as a preferred source for essential fatty acids to support the brain and nervous system. These do not include any contaminants from the sea that the usual fish oils do. And also anti oxidants, which combat the accumulated toxins from over processed foods throughout the years. Although the results have always been consistent through the HET annual returns over the years, I am now negotiating an opportunity to repeat the research programme with the same company in order to update the data with new case studies. I need organisations who are interested in this to register. We need organisations like schools, community groups, parent support groups or sports centres to register their interest. In order to make the most of this opportunity, I am offering to provide free training for HETs in the entire HET system which will also include the sponsored quality nutrition for the families. Any HET applying for this research programme will need to find 10 families willing to subscribe to the Stepping Stone Programme in order to access the materials needed. The cost for this is only £10 per month over the 12 month programme during which time they will be shown by their HET coach how to use and evaluate the programme, which will be part of the research programme and generate evidence for their qualification. Any families interested in participating, accessing the sponsored nutritional programme ( worth over £80 per month) and having the support of a HET coach whilst they train under supervision should contact me through the website. I am looking forward to combating behavioural disorders like ADHD with nutrition together. THIS ARTICLE RELATES TO STEPPING STONE 4 Tags: ADHD ADHD Nutrition ADHD Diet
