"Life is a garden without any doubt - If you put good things in you get good things out."
The quote I included above was what my Mom always wrote in my endless amount of autograph books as a child. Her words echoed with me over the years and her wisdom and love inspired so much of my thinking. So much so that I came to develop her words into a little game that has proved to be an amazingly accurate insight into the way we see life. And when we come to understand that the way we see life is actually what creates our life…… it can empower us to a whole new way forward – weeding the bits we don’t like and planting the bits that we do!!!
So in this week’s newsletter I am going to give you something to do with your child and with your family and for YOU – for next week!
Next week, it will all be revealed in the gift I send you – BUT I want you to have fun with this first!!!
Here’s how it goes…..
This week’s gift is ‘meditation story’ for you and your child…
By that I mean, It is something that your child interacts with as you go along and can be as long or as short as you want it to be – you can expand all kinds of wonderful activities into it, that you can work with together with your child along the way. It will give you all kinds of insights into how your child is feeling in a safe and relaxed one step removed way. As well, it will gently lead you into some of the Eco therapy projects that we cover in stepping stone 12.
The programme has been used with children aged 7 – 14, depending on their level of ability but is very adaptable. It leads to a “perceptual understanding awareness” through ‘the Willow and his Helpers exercise’ that is covered in Stepping stone 7 – so please have fun with this together.

The first part is to draw a garden…
And this is what I would like you to do for next week ( yes… you too!) How cool it is to do this fun exercise together though?
It talks about ‘the Garden’ at the beginning of our Willow and his helpers story ( I will tell you more about Willow soon – he really exists!!)
Firstly , you do not need to be an artist – it can be any sort of drawing and any sort of garden, a real one, an imaginary one, a fantasy one, A garden that you have , or have been to or, or would like.
Just enjoy drawing your garden!
Next week we will come back to it and see what it shows you – so much fun – you can get friends and family to join in this too – and next week you can astound them with accurate perceptions about their life!!!!
It will also give you insight into how your child perceives and understands what is going on around them and this will pave the way to putting in a whole new level of support for your child.
There is so much in Willow and his helpers do, including some sound frequencies – the ‘Willow essences’ that help your child understand things, through seeing them in a different way.
So please enjoy your gift this week and more importantly your time together - for that is the most precious gift of all!!!
Have a wonderful week together with your child!
