Today I received this correspondence from a lady in san Diego who wants all parents to be aware fo this:
Has anyone else experienced Vision loss while on ADHD Meds?? My daughter had this happen while on Concerta and then Daytrana (patch form). The Doctor insisted that this is NOT possilbe. IT IS!!
She stopped taking Concerta in 9/08 and it took a year for her vision to return - we are talking VERY strong bi-focals for an 11 year old. Her vision returned 9/09 she went on the Daytrana (patch form of meds) for 7 days and her vision is now gone again.
